Hi, I’m Eva.
I’m a digital illustrator based in a green corner of Berlin.
I create character-driven, whimsical work for children’s publishing and licensing. I originally studied architecture and programming, spending years working in tech before returning to my first love - drawing. Choosing illustration as a career was a turning point, as storytelling through art is what truly fulfills me.
I specialize in picture book illustration, character design, and cover art, working digitally, with a portfolio full of expressive anthropomorphic characters, magical scenes, and heartwarming vignettes. My art style blends textured brushes with muted palettes and vivid highlights, resulting in warm, atmospheric illustrations that keep the characters and key moments lively and engaging.
In addition to commissions, I self-published a winter-themed coloring book featuring my signature whimsical animal characters.
My mission is to create art that uplifts, comforts, and inspires - illustrations that invite children (and the young at heart) into imaginative worlds filled with warmth and wonder.
When not drawing, I enjoy long walks and quiet wanderings to gather inspiration, or cosying up with a good book and a warm cup of coffee or tea.
